New at SU – Nacht der Wunder – Sketch Challenge

Hola und herzlich Willkommen in unserem NEW AT SU! Bloghop! Wir sind eine Gruppe von Stampin’Up!-Demonstratoren aus der ganzen Welt, die kreative Ideen zum Basteln mit Papier mit dir teilen möchten. Heute machen wir ein Sketch Challenge mit den Produkten aus dem Winter-Minikatalog von Stampin Up!

Welcome to our NEW AT SU! Blog hop! We are a group of Stampin Up! demonstrators from around the world who are „hoppin“ with creative paper crafting ideas to share with you. Today we have are having a sketch Challenge with the products from the winter Mini catalogue from Stampin‘ Up!

So sieht das Sketch aus. Wir alle sollen mit beliebige Materiallien aus dem Minikatalog nach diesem Sketch nachbasteln:

Und so sieht meine Karte nach dem Sketch aus: Ich wollte unbedingt in quer Format basteln aber auch, dass beide große Sterne aus dem Designerpapier auf der Karte zu sehen sind… Also die einzige Lösung war eine 15cm-quadratische Karte:

And this is what my card looks like after the sketch: I really wanted to make it in landscape format but also wanted both large stars from the designer paper to be visible on the card… So the only solution was a 6″ square card:

Die Karte ist ganz einfach gebastelt, denn das Designerpapier „Heilige Nacht“ der ganze Arbeit übernommen hat. Mit den Stanzformen „Nacht der Wunder“ habe ich die Motive aus Farbkarton in Kieselgrau und Pekannuss ausgestanzt.

The card is very easy to make because the “O Holy Night” designer paper did all the work. I used the Night Divine dies to cut out the silhouettes from pebbled path and pecan pie cardstock.

Ganz hilfreich fand ich die Schwarze Mini-Dimensionals die ganz perfekt oben hinter die kleine Köpfchen gepasst haben. Auf dem Dunkelpapier stechen diese Dimensionals nicht so arg raus, als mit weißen Dimensionals. Mich stört dass, wenn man die Karte aus der Seite oder von oben sieht. Ich weiß, ein fast unauffälliges Detail aber ihr wisst ja: „Der Teufel steckt in den Details“ 😀

I found the black mini-dimensionals very helpful, as they fit perfectly behind the top of the little heads. On the dark paper, these Dimensionals don’t stand out as much as the white Dimensionals. It bothers me when you see them „sticking out“ from the card (when looking from the side or from above). I know, I know… an almost inconspicuous detail but you know: „The devil is in the details“ 😀

Für die Grundkarte habe ich einen halben Bögen aus dem 30cm x 30cm große Farbkarton in Vanille. Der ist nicht so Stabil wie das Extrastarker Farbkarton aber dafür bekomme ich gleich zwei quadratische Karten ohne Papier zu verschwenden. Die Innenseite der Karte habe ich noch mit Designerpapier dekoriert.
