New at SU: Happy Birthday mit Sonnenhut von Stampin‘ Up!

Kannst du glauben, dass es schon 5 Jahre her ist, seit wir gemeinsam durch kreative Blog Hops reisen? Passend zum Jubiläum feiern wir mit Projekten zum Thema Geburtstag – und ich teile heute eine Idee, die ich im Juni für meinen In Color Club umgesetzt habe. Diese Karte ging auch an Kundinnen, Freundinnen und Bastelmenschen, die mir kreativ nahestehen

Can you believe it’s been 5 years since we started hopping around the world with creative blog inspiration? To celebrate this milestone, we’re crafting birthday cards! Today I’m sharing a design I created in June for my In Color Club – a special card I also sent to customers, friends, and fellow creatives.

Meine Karte: Geburtstagskarte mit dem Sparpaket „Sonnenhut“

Die Basis meiner Karte besteht aus Farbkarton in Wolkenmeer, einer der neuen InColors 2025–2027. Darauf klebt ein weißes Quadrat mit einem Stück InColor Designerpapier.

The base of my card features one of the new 2025–2027 In Colors – Cloud Cover. On top, I layered a white square with a piece of In Color Designer Series Paper.

Als Blickfang dient die große Sonnenhut-Stanzform. Das Besondere: Die Blüte öffnet sich und zeigt die versteckte Botschaft „Heute ist dein Tag“. Darunter findest du ein weißes Banner mit dem Gruß „Alles Liebe und Gute zum Geburtstag“, den ich mit zwei Stempeln kombiniert und in Tiefseeblau gestempelt habe.

The focal point is the large Coneflower (Sonnenhut) die. What makes it special? The flower top flips open to reveal a hidden sentiment: “Today is your day.” Below it, I added a white banner where I combined two stamp phrases to say “Alles Liebe und Gute zum Geburtstag”, stamped in Secret Sea ink.

Für einen frischen Kontrast stammen Stiel und Blätter aus den InColors 2024–2026 – so kommen mehrere Farbfamilien zusammen und machen das Ganze noch lebendiger.

For the stem and leaves, I used cardstock from the 2024–2026 In Colors, which adds beautiful contrast and extra color coordination.

Probiere es selber aus! / Try it your self!

Probiere doch auch mal, verschiedene InColors miteinander zu kombinieren! Die Blume mit verstecktem Text ist perfekt für kleine Überraschungseffekte. Und wer freut sich nicht über handgemachte Post zum Geburtstag? Hier noch ein paar Beispiele für dich:

Ich habe die gleiche Karte mit verschiedenen Farbkombinationen gestaltet – jede davon mit einem anderen InColor für die Blüte. Das zeigt wunderbar, wie vielseitig diese Farbkollektion ist. Die InColors sind so aufeinander abgestimmt, dass du sie nach Lust und Laune kombinieren kannst – und es passt einfach immer.

I created the same card in multiple color variations, each featuring a different In Color for the flower. It’s a great example of how versatile this color range is. InColors are designed to mix and match, so you can combine them freely — and they always work beautifully together.

Merke dir: Keine nackten Umschläge! / Rembember: No Naked Envelopes!

Deine Stempel sind perfekt dafür, deine Post aus der Masse hervorzuheben. Wenn du deine Karten schon mit Liebe bastelst, dann gib dem Umschlag auch ein bisschen Aufmerksamkeit! Ich habe die passenden Umschläge im Juni mit dem Sonnenhut-Stempel dekoriert – weil schöne Post schon beim Öffnen Freude machen darf.

Your stamps are perfect for making your mail stand out in a pile of bills.! If you’re already crafting a card with love, don’t forget the envelope! For my June mail-out, I stamped each one with the coneflower stamp — because thoughtful post deserves a standout presentation.
